I highly recommend Primed for birthing classes.  We scheduled a private class, and could not have been happier with the ease of scheduling and the information we received.  Also, Karli was very fun to chat with and learn from, and I definitely feel ready to experience the miracle of childbirth.  She was great at engaging my partner and I, and really made the class fit our needs.

Primed birth class was incredibly informative & taught us both more than we thought we had to learn. Karli's casual style led to many interesting discussions and provoked many questions that we hadn't yet asked. It was a great overall class and made us both feel more prepared to tackle the huge challenge that is the journey of childbirth.

I am beyond grateful for Karli at Primed Birth Prep. As first time parents, my husband and I took advantage of the one-on-one childbirth education course. We are thankful we did! It was an intimate way to have all our questions answered and to be thoroughly prepared for such a big and important event. We had so many questions and so much fear. Karli's knowledge and down to earth teaching style gave us a sense of calm we needed to trust the process and strategies to "let it be big." 7 hours of labor and 8lb 3oz of baby later, we are still so thankful for how this time brought us together and helped us prepare to welcome our beautiful daughter naturally into this world.

I appreciated being told the real deal about the less than glamorous stuff. Being told the truth about how beautiful, and also hard, and sometimes scary, and really really physical this all is.

I found myself really wishing I had this information four kids ago!

Her words give you the courage and tools you need to believe in yourself, let go, and welcome your baby into this world. I will definitely be recommending her to all my pregnant friends in Alaska!

I really liked the Birth Plan block exercise as it helped us look at our priorities in a physical way.

Our favorite thing was the thoughtful selection of content.  We could have spent a whole other session on all the interesting topics!

I can't imagine a more accessible or thorough way to prepare: on your own time, at your own speed, when it's convenient for you and your partner. I wish these courses had been around for my first VBAC!

The part about VBAC statistics and perspective was really helpful. It solidified the fact that even though it's going to be hard, it's not impossible.
